Who We Are

Şahnur Agaik

Şahnur Agaik was born in Turkey.  He graduated from the department of mechanical engineering Bosphorus University, Istanbul in 1981 BSc and 1984 MSc.

After graduation he worked in Samson AG in Frankfurt and subsequently started up Samson Turkey.  In 1987, he founded, together with his classmate, Osman Kurdaş, General System Design (GSD) Inc.

Being the first industrial automation company of Turkey, GSD was approached by GE to cooperate for various power projects in Turkey. 

Agaik has been active with thermal design and business development.  He has completed several CCPPs, co-gens, and tri-gens.   

Agaik is a member of the Foreign Relations Committee of TUSIAD since 1996.  He has represented TUSIAD in various conferences abroad.

Agaik brings many years of experience in the power industry.
